These terms cover your use of Survival Prep Guide at survivalprep.guide (the “directory”). If you do not agree, do not use the directory.
1. What the directory is
Survival Prep Guide is a curated list of survival and preparedness books. Each listing has a short synopsis and a link to find the book on Amazon.
You may browse without an account. An account lets you rate books and leave reviews.
Synopses are our descriptions of the books. They are not the books. We do not provide a full-text reader for copyrighted titles. Book text, covers, and titles remain the property of their authors and publishers.
The directory is educational. It is not medical, legal, or professional survival advice. Do not treat a synopsis, a review, or a later AI answer as a substitute for training, local law, or a qualified professional. In a real emergency, use your judgment and official guidance.
2. Amazon affiliate links
“Buy the book” opens an Amazon.com search for that title. We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
A purchase on Amazon is a contract between you and Amazon. We do not sell books, take payment for books, or control Amazon price, stock, or shipping. Amazon’s conditions apply on Amazon.
3. Accounts
You must give a real email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
We may refuse, lock, or close an account that we believe is abusive, automated, or in breach of these terms. Email support@survivalprep.guide to ask us to delete an account.
4. Reviews
Reviews must be your own honest note about the book. Do not post spam, ads, hate, threats, private information about other people, or copied book text.
One review per book per account. We may edit out links, hide a review, or remove it if it breaks these rules. Visible reviews are public. Do not put your email address or other private data in the review text — we do not display your email, but the text itself is public.
5. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Scrape, overload, or attack the site
- Impersonate another person
- Upload malware
- Use the directory to break the law
- Copy our synopsis catalogue for a competing product
6. Later features
Paid plans and per-book AI chat are not part of the directory today. If we offer them, we will describe the price and limits on the site before you pay or use them. Chat, when it exists, will be educational and grounded in short excerpts — not a substitute for owning the book, and not professional advice.
7. Intellectual property
The Survival Prep Guide name, site design, and original synopsis text are ours (or used with permission). You may link to public pages. You may not copy the directory as a whole.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The directory is provided “as is.” We work to keep listings accurate, but titles, synopses, and Amazon results can be wrong or out of date. We do not warrant that a book will meet your needs or that the site will be uninterrupted.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make from synopses, reviews, or Amazon purchases. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. If you keep using the directory after that date, you accept the updated terms.
